I’ve been dreaming about going on this trip since they announced it as a university subject and was included within our course so naturally I signed up and had the amazing opportunity to travel all the way to South Africa and be apart of ecolife for 3 weeks. If I had any advice for anyone planning or thinking about doing this expedition just do it. It was genuinely the best 3 weeks of my entire life and you meet such amazing people that you work with everyday especially our guides Pierre and Jamie-Lee they made this trip unforgettable <3

Amazing experience and great people. I’m happy we had a smaller group. Our guide, Louis, was phenomenal. Learned a lot.

Getting to snorkel and SCUBA dive at multiple sites was incredible. We were able to see so many different aquatic wildlife species. Louis is so knowledgeable and a great camp cook. We were also able to do a behind the scenes tour of uShaka marine world which was fantastic and the staff were so kind and excited to share their knowledge.

We had a great time! Wonderful people to work with and great food and accomodations! There were a couple of long drives to the next destination that took up most of the day but I'm sure it is difficult to line up activities in close proximity all the time. There was a nice variety of experiences and I learned a lot about wildlife veterinary practice as well as getting to see and photograph a large number of African wildlife in their natural surroundings. Definitely got my money's worth!

This was a wonderful trip and experience! As a Vet CE it is excellent! I learned so many new concepts, how to handle, dart, and treat wildlife that we can't get anywhere outside of Africa. The guide was excellent, accommodating, patient, friendly, helpful, thorough and managed our time and travel excellently. The lodgings were beautiful and comfortable. The food was abundant and excellent. And the mix of lecture, hands-on, and sight seeing was perfect! I would highly recommend this CE for any vet/vet nurse that is interested in African wildlife management and medicine and the issues surrounding this topic.
